Yes. TDX provides in-car coaching for novice drivers at just $50 per event day. Your coach is paired with you based on your car and driving criteria. They'll contact you before the event to discuss goals and the Sebring International Raceway layout specifically. Coaches are matched by experience level and vehicle type.
Essential items: Snell SA2020 or newer helmet (full-face recommended; note that SA2015 is expired and no longer accepted), closed-toe shoes, water (at least 1 gallon β Florida heat is serious), sunscreen, and your car in good mechanical condition. Remove all loose items from your interior. Fresh DOT 4 brake fluid is strongly recommended. A folding chair and pop-up canopy make the paddock time comfortable between sessions.
Yes. TDX runs 5 run groups from complete beginner to advanced. The A-Green (Novice with Coach) group provides a full-day in-car instructor for just $50. Sebring International Raceway offers wide runoff areas and flat terrain, making it forgiving for new drivers. No prior track experience is required β just register, show up, and learn.
TDX track days at Sebring International Raceway range from approximately $249β$399 per day depending on the event. In-car coaching for novices is an additional $50. There are no membership fees. Event Cancellation Insurance is available for $25/day or $99/year, giving you 100% credit if you need to cancel.
